CTLA would like to thank everyone that supported our Afternoon Tea – Fundraising Event, on Saturday 24th June.
We are delighted to announce that from ticket sales, raffle, tombola & personal donations we raised a fantastic £1097.00
Guests were treated to entertainment from top local artists including Simon Studd (swing singer), Gemma Clare, Lamiah Davey, Gary Robertson and Jack West. A delicious afternoon tea was enjoyed by all with sandwiches and cakes donated by Papachino’s Gateway Café, Peacehaven and CTLA volunteer bakers.
Staff from Nationwide Building Society, Peacehaven also helped to serve 90 guests the event, many of whom were CTLA service users.
Many local residents donated prizes for the raffle and tombola, a special thank you to Cakes By Ashley (@cakes.ashleigh) & Lilys (@telscombecliffsflorist) for their wonderful donations.
The Mayor and Mayoress of Peacehaven – Councillor Brian and Mrs Sandra Gosling, Councillor June Dyer – Mayor of Newhaven and MP for the Lewes Area, Maria Caulfield attended to support the event.
With increasing demand on limited resources, CTLA are actively fundraising for a new mini bus. With a £10,000 deposit required, staff and volunteers are working hard to reach our target.
