Ever wanted to know more about our little white minibuses that are such a familiar sight on the streets of your town or village in the Lewes District of East Sussex and beyond? Maybe you, a family member or close friend are one of the five and a half thousand registered members who benefit from travelling on our services or maybe you have just wanted to know more!
We have just published “CTLA Keeping Life Moving – Our Story So Far” which is a fascinating insight into our charity and the people who keep our buses on the road so that our members can have a more fulfilling and independent lifestyle when transport would otherwise be a problem. Click CTLA Our Story to read or download a free copy and please share it with your friends and neighbours.
Maybe you would like to be a part of our story going forward into the new decade? Find out about the many ways you can volunteer with us from helping us with fundraising to driving one of our minibuses to helping look after the paperwork in our office. There is a role for all and you can learn new skills as well. Every hour a volunteer helps us is money saved to maintain and extend the valuable frontline transport services we provide to combat two of the biggest problems in society today – Isolation and Loneliness.
To find out more about volunteering opportunities contact Gina Bickerstaff on gina@ctla.org.uk, fill out the contact form on our website www.ctla.org.uk, call 01273 517332 or just pop into our office at Newhaven’s Hillcrest Centre and have a no obligation, informal chat. Volunteering with us can be so rewarding – changing other people’s lives and your own too.
