Saturday 5th January – Holmbush – Fare £15 – Up to 3 hours to browse in Next, Tesco’s and Marks & Spencer. Such a lovely large store with spacious coffee shop serving everything from sandwiches and cake to hot meals including fish and chips.
Saturday 5th January – Cosmo Eastbourne – Fare £13 – An authentic world kitchen which brings a wide choice of world food under one roof buffet style. Lunch buffet £7.99 and booked for 12.30pm.
Sunday 6th January – Singing Hills Golf Club – Fare £13 – The restaurant with views of the 18th hole on the River and Valley course, will offer you their famous Sunday Carvery, in just the right atmosphere. Prices from 2 courses £18 or 3 courses £21. Lunch booked for 12.00 noon.
Saturday 6th January – Anchor Bleu – Bosham – Fare £17 – Ancient and cosy old pub overlooking picturesque Bosham Harbour. Low ceilings, a real fire and stylish decor give it a warm and inviting feel, with flagstones around the bar and wooden floors elsewhere. Mains from £10.95 and desserts from £5.25. Lunch is booked for 12.00 noon. Access – 1 step into pub & 1 step up to toilets. No disabled toilet.
Monday 7th January – Free Day in Worthing – Fare £15 – Shopping is a real delight in Worthing, with safe pedestrianised streets and covered shopping centres. With over 400 retail stores in the Town Centre as well as plenty of opportunity to take the weight of your feet and enjoy some refreshment. Up to 3 hours to browse and explore the Town, have lunch or meet up with some friends.
Saturday 12th January – Happy Days Café – Whitesmith, Near Lewes – Fare £13 – One of the best cafes in the area, this proved very popular with members on our last trip there. Starters from £4.50, mains from £7.50 & desserts from £3.70. Lunch is booked for 13.00pm.
Saturday 12th January – Yew Tree Inn, Arlington – Fare £14 – This is a favourite as the Inn is situated in the picturesque village of Arlington. The owners Peter and Joan are passionate about their food and service, so we are confident you will have an enjoyable lunch. Lunch is booked for 12.30pm.
Sunday 13th January – The Thatched Inn – Hassocks – Fare £13 – Nestling at the foot of the South Downs, the Thatched Inn with its picturesque roof of Norfolk reeds and oak beams, has spectacular views over the Sussex countryside to the Ditching Beacon. Roast £12.95 Beef/Pork/Chicken or nutroast. Lunch is booked at 12.00 noon.o
Sunday 13th January – ESK Eastbourne /Sovereign Harbour – Fare £13 – We will first take you to ESK to browse for an hour or so, then you will move on to Sovereign Harbour where you can stroll along the harbour and enjoy a bite to eat from the wide selection of cafes and restaurants.
Monday 14th January – Arndale – Fare £13 – Enjoy upto 3 hours to shop at the Arndale Centre.
Saturday 19th January – Inn on the Park – Golden Cross – Fare £13 – The Inn is set in the 175 acre Deanland Wood park at Golden Cross. A lovely selection of homemade dishes, mains £8.95 and desserts £4.50. Lunch booked for 12.00 noon.
Saturday 19th January – Barn Theatre Peter Pan Seaford – Fare £10 – This years pantomime performed by Seaford Musical Theatre. Proven family fun, packed with great songs and anticipated corny jokes, it is sure to be a great afternoon. Tickets £9 each to include tea and cake (thanks to a fantastic discount SMT has kindly given to every club member) Non-refundable payable by Friday 4th January 2019.
Sunday 20th January – Haskins Garden Centre- Roundstone – Fare £15 – Visit this award winning garden centre in Angmering West Sussex. For all of you who enjoy your crafts you will be able to visit Hobbycraft, the UK’s largest chain of dedicated Arts & Crafts Superstores which is just next door. As requested no alternative venue has been arranged for lunch, so you will be able to spend all your time at Haskins and enjoy lunch in one of their eateries. Up to 3 hours to browse.
Sunday 20th January – The Black Rabbit – Arundel – Fare £16 – Situated on the banks of the River Arun with views over the wet lands to Arundel Castle, the Black Rabbit is a perfect example of the traditional country pub we all know and love, with roaring log fires and oak beams and even the boat from Harry Potter & The Philosophers Stone provides the perfect place to relax and unwind. Sunday lunch from £12.25 and desserts £5.50. Lunch is booked for 12.45pm and £5 deposit required by Friday 4th January 2019.
Monday 21st January – Hillier Garden Centre – Stone Cross – Fare £13 – This extensive garden centre has a wide variety of plants as well as an exciting range of garden products and gifts. With a large pet and aquatic shop enjoy browsing around the different sections then visit Café Pine which is fully licensed and serves delicious hot and cold food.
Saturday 26th January – Berwick Inn – Fare £12 – Enjoy a ride out with classic country pub dining. Starters from £5.25, mains from £9.50 and desserts from £5.95. Lunch booked for 12.30pm.
Saturday 26th January – The Moorings – Pevensey – Fare £14 – Enjoy a scenic drive out to Pevensey Bay and lunch at the wonderful Moorings Restaurant. The Moorings is a traditional English restaurant serving good quality food at reasonable prices, choose from their extensive menu. Lunch is booked for 13.00pm.
Sunday 27th January – Boship Farm Hotel – Fare £13 – Enjoy lunch at this Hotel located in Lower Dicker. Carvery – 2 courses £12.95 or 3 courses £15.95 to include tea or coffee. Lunch booked for 13.00pm.
Sunday 27th January – County Mall – Crawley – Fare £15 – is situated in the heart of Crawley town centre and has over 90 of your favourite high street shops. It’s a great shopping centre and has something for everyone, including a fantastic food court. The Mall has full disabled access but does not offer shop-mobility. Up to 3 hours to browse.
Monday 28th January – The Green Man- Ringmer – Fare £12 – The Green Man is in a country location within the village of Ringmer. Popular for meals, they have their own extensive menu which is all homemade using only fresh vegetables. Starters from £3.45, mains from £6.95 and desserts from £4.50. Lunch is booked for 12.30pm.
