Recently we were delighted to receive a visit from Paul Boswell and Mike Shorer from the Newhaven Chamber of Commerce who brought along a donation of 1500 PPE face masks for our frontline staff to wear to protect themselves and members travelling with us from the risk of the Covid-19 virus . The masks were given to us by the Newhaven Chamber of Commerce (on behalf of the Vietnamese Government) who are supporting a number of local charities including CTLA. Vietnam have been very successful in controlling the spread of the virus and are putting surplus stocks to good use where they are needed more.
This is a very generous donation as it saves us having to spend our own funds on buying masks and enables us to put the cash towards continuing to deliver vital services within the community, including our home delivery of food and prescription medicines to those who are still having to shield and are unable to get out. Find out more about our delivery services by calling the office on 01273 517332 or using the contact form on this website.
